TOTAL

SOLAR ECLIPSE

PILGRIMAGE

July 29 – August 8, 2027
Luxor · The Nile · Aswan · Giza

This is not a retreat.

We are not traveling to Egypt to step away from life.

We are traveling to enter more deeply into it.

Eleven days moving through one of the world's great ancient landscapes by temple, river, practice and sky.

Eight nights living aboard a Dahabiya on the Nile.

The Valley of the Kings. Dendera. Karnak. Luxor. Edfu. Kom Ombo. Philae. Abu Simbel. The Great Pyramids. The Sphinx.

And at the center of it all—

August 2, 2027

We gather in Luxor beneath the path of a total solar eclipse, experiencing more than six minutes of totality.

This is not sightseeing with yoga added to it.

It is an experience of transformation through travel, practice, study and community.

Egypt becomes the classroom.

THE EXPERIENCE

Throughout the expedition, the places we visit become part of the practice.

Yoga · Prāṇāyāma · Meditation · Satsang · Sacred Study · Yantra · Silence

We explore themes of light and dark, solar and lunar, upper and lower, movement and stillness...allowing ancient Egyptian thought and the traditions of Yoga to merge seamlessly.

Our licensed Egyptologist grounds the journey in the history, culture and sacred architecture of Egypt.

Our practice asks what these places awaken within us.

EIGHT NIGHTS

ON THE NILE

Our Dahabiya becomes our home.

Wake beside the Nile. Practice. Explore. Return to the river. Share meals. Gather for satsang. Watch the landscape pass.

After the eclipse, we raise sail and journey south toward Aswan.

Not rushing through Egypt.

Moving slowly enough to experience it.
